Our Hourly Rate Explained

The most efficient, cost effective and straight forward way is for us to deal with quoting and pricing jobs is to base it on a true reflection time which comes from years of experience in the motor trade. We do not charge based on “book” time we charge on the actual time to complete the job. All jobs are quoted in advance over the phone and email before we book and arrive to site.

Our mobile vans are fully kitted to take on any task and all parts required for the job will be with the mechanic on the van when they arrive to site.

It is always our goal to act proactively when repairing and we always advise a diagnostic first to understand the full extent of the work and ultimately the price involved. No one likes unexpected surprises due to a problem being bigger or worse than expected.

Small Job Charges

All jobs will be quoted up front with the customer so there are no hidden charges or fees and you know exactly what you are paying when we arrive.

All jobs will be quoted upfront and there is no obligation to accept the quotation.

What happens if there is more work than initially required?

Sometimes jobs are not straightforward, and what started as a simple job could quickly change when on-site due to unforeseen circumstances or other problems than the one we initially quoted to perform. We don’t try and upsell unnecessarily as we are mechanics, not salespeople, but we try to save you money, offer the correct service, and perform the job to the highest standard.

Hourly Rate	£70	Our standard hourly rate per hour with a minimum call call-out of 1 hour and then billed in 30-minute increments
Interim Car Service (Oil + Filter)	£70	We offer a fixed price fee for an interim car service, that excludes parts & oil. This pricing applies for both residential and commercial vehicles under 3.5 Ton.
Full Car Service	£80	We offer a fixed price labour fee for an interim car service, that excludes parts & oil. This pricing applies for both residential and commercial vehicles under 3.5 Ton.
Major Service	£100	We offer a fixed price fee for a major car service, that excludes parts & oil. This pricing applies for both residential and commercial vehicles under 3.5 Ton.
Diagnostics	£60	All diagnostic work which includes ECU Fault reading or mechanical fault finding
MOT's	£80	Our mot servicing includes, picking your vehicle up, checking exterior and interior, underneath the bonnet and under the vehicle checks, and making sure it meets the minimum safety requirements. MOT's carried out with a service start from £65.00
Brake Fluid Change	£70	We offer a fixed price fee for brake fluid change. The price excludes the brake fluid.
Coolant Change	£75	We offer a fixed price fee for changing the coolant. The price excludes the coolant/antifreeze fluid.
All Other Work	£CALL	We undertake all types of vehicle work so please enquire to get a free, no obligation upfront fixed cost quote.
