How to Book in for a Diagnostic?

Give us a call or drop us an email to arrange a booking and you can nominate a day and time that is convenient for you. We will offer a 2 hour window on the selected day that your mechanic will arrive and you will also receive an SMS when the Mechanic is on his way to you with an ETA and the ability to track our mechanic as he makes his way to you.

How much is the Diagnostic Fee?

We have a straightforward pricing model for car and van diagnostics, for both electrical and mechanical fault finding. Please refer to our pricing page for the latest information here

What is a ‘car diagnostics’?

All modern cars contain on-board computers that monitor or control things like emissions levels, engine temperature and even windscreen wipers. When things go wrong, these computers produce error codes which can only be read with vehicle diagnostics equipment. You may see a warning light on your dashboard, but these only give a small part of the full picture.

Our car diagnostic check picks up these errors and identifies what they mean, so component failures can be prevented before they lead to further damage or expensive repairs!

What can you diagnose?

We can diagnose a full range of problems from electrical to mechanical all for the same low fixed fee. Engine diagnostics are completed by using our state of the art computer diagnostics equipment and mechanically faults are diagnosed using our years of experience and industry knowledge.

Service and MOT - Excellent from start to finish - on time, polite and friendly, efficient and could not have done better.  To have the service done at our own home saves the 'phaff' of going to a garage for the service, getting back without a car or being picked up and then collecting later. For roadside really good prompt service with good communication. Only down side was that the problem wasn’t picked up on diagnostic test. Feel like £72 wasted as what I thought was one thing turned out to be a whole other job. Thanks to mechanics for working in freezing cold on a Sunday though! I have an Alfa Romeo Giuletta and the front door handle had broken off. I tried getting a quote from all over the place but these guys had the most reasonable one. Not only that, they gave me a quote and adhered to it, and did a great job. They also happen to come to you to fix the issue, so you save on time and fuel. Can't recommend you lot enough.
